Well what a year it’s been. This time last year I was getting to grips with using a sewing machine, a real beginner and dreaming of the possibilities of using my newly learned skills to set up a new clothing brand. Its been such an exciting year: I made my first garment for a catwalk show for Transition Towns Leamington made completely out of recycled scarves; I created the Flamboyant Clothing brand with some great logos designed by my amazing friend Clare; I worked with Henry Holland at HOH and made him a Flamboyant shirt and then went back to help out at London fashion week; Flamboyant Clothing now has a presence on Facebook and Twitter with almost 170 Facebook followers and more and more members of The Flamboyant Army growing by the day; We now have an online store for people to buy the clothes and we have done some great photoshoots with some massive help from some great photographers,as well as some help from some great bloggers, you know who you are!!.
As the year draws to an end I just want to a massive thank you to everyone that has helped me, given me their time, attention advice support and patience, and to everyone who has parted with their hard earned cash to buy a Flamboyant Clothing garment. I could not have got this far without you and this is just the first base covered.
Here’s to a fabulous, flamboyant 2011!!
All my deepest love to you all xxx
